the movement for civil society protection after sustaining human losses in the februar 2008 strikes in cameroon stands firm in it resolve to improve living standards of cameroonians

i ndikum emmanuel tashi as public relations officer of the university of dschang law student society and SG of ADDEC ,which is an association of students stand firm in our resolve to spread paece and democracy, sensitize the public on their electoral rights and obligations and continue protecting and fighting for students right
we highly criticize the heavy handed reaction of the military and police in cameroon to the dschang and buea strikes respectively in the course of which 2 and 3 students respectively lost their lives.

i ndikum emmanuel tashi in my capacity as branch leader of the Civil Society Protection Movement in Douala cameroon deplore the unequal use of force by the military on unarmed civilians resulting in the dead of 139 strikers and 21 members of our movement ,i however wish to stand on my resolve to continue fighting for and improvement on our leaving conditions and fighting against illegal changes carried out on the cameroonian constitution on april 2008
