Amendments Tabled by Hon Mbah-Ndam and the Members of the SDF Parliamentary Group
...section 6(2) constitutes in fact a solemn pact between the present Biya Regime and the Cameroonian people. To attempt to abrogate it unilaterally at this late stage is to perpetrate a fraud on the Cameroonian people and put in jeopardy the peace and stability we have so far enjoyed...
We agree with the government that “the 1996 Constitution was designed and adopted in a quite particular post crises context”. Indeed, it would be recalled that in order to bring to an end the “ghost towns” and “ghost country”, the government convened a sort of Tri-partite forum that brought together all the meaningful forces of the Cameroonian body politic and that it was at this forum that it was resolved to carry out a constitutional revision and a committee was put in place to that effect.
This committee however ran into difficulty, when there was total rejection of the examination of the Federal option and this led to the All Anglophone Conference which finally gave birth to a separatist movement that continues in existence to date. Peace was however re-established in Cameroon when Parliament finally adopted section 6(2) as this was condoned even by those who were against the “unitarist” position since it was generally assumed that whether the present regime under President Biya ruled well or badly, an opportunity would be given Cameroonians, at the worst after 14 years, to try some one else. Thus, section (2) constitutes in fact a solemn pact between the present Biya Regime and the Cameroonian people. To attempt to abrogate it unilaterally at this late stage is to perpetrate a fraud on the Cameroonian people and put in jeopardy the peace and stability we have so far enjoyed and which is a condition sine qua non for our economic development and progress. It also lends good ground and argument for separatist thought.
On purely democratic principles, it is common knowledge of our short experience that the incumbent President in Cameroon and elsewhere in Africa uses the governmental machinery for Campaign and the manoeuvre of elections, thus rendering it impossible the full expression of the sovereignty of the people. If such a provision does not exist, election of the President of the Republic will never be a true expression of the sovereign will of the Cameroonian people, which thus defeat the very fundamental tenet of democracy and the democratic alternation at the helm of the state. For these two and many other reasons we reject the attempt to amend section 6(2).
FRUN MET WITH PAUL BIYA AND HE GAVE HIM AN ENVELOPE FULL OF CASH. HE TOLD FRU WHAT HE IS GOING TO DO, SOO FRU SHUT-UP.
NOW AFTER BIYA PASSED HIS PRESIDENTIAL
PROLONGATION BILL, FRU STARTS TO BARK.
QUESTIONIS WHY DID HE FRU NOT BARK ?BEFORE, AND WHY DID HE MET WITH BIYA?
WHO IS FRUN NDEP DECIEVING IF NOT HIMSELF AND HIS POOR SUPPORTERS.

This is a welcome initiative by the Social Democratic Front(SDF) the only party that can ensure alternance in Cameroon.Cudo's to Ni John Fru Ndi and Mbah Ndam who have sacrificed almost everything for justice and democracy to prevail in Cameroon. Many of us in the diaspora have started mobilising behind u to boost the struggle under an umbrella oganisation which we shall let Cameroonians know sooner or later.
All Cameroonians should rally behind the SDF and its Chairman at this momentous hour in our history.Bc no other political edifice has the potential to recuperate power and bestow it on the people in Cameroon like the SDF can do.The SDF is the solution and alternative for Cameroon after Biya.

The die is cast, the hidden is unveiled, the sound of a mysterious trumpet is currently blowing accross an apple land called Cameroon. The endearing peace Cameronians have been enjoying is fast fading out thus clearing the dust for an aorta of destruction, disaster, frustration, lost of innoncent lives and worst of all biding farewell to the broken and unsound but little hope left economy for Cameroonians. The people may tolerate, accept all the odds, overlook even when provoked but if they are pushed to the extreme, they have no choice but to retaliate. A looming situation is inevitable in the days ahead in Cameroon.Lord "cry my beloved country" quoted by Mongo Betty.Nobody like violence nor do we call for one but the unscruplous reaction of the incumbent president with his batalion of yes men who inspite of vehement rejection by the people of Cameroon of any constitutional changes and most specifically Section 6(2), but they who feel Cameroon belongs to them because they are in the rulling party saddened with a minority opposition, think they can do and undo anything at their own wish to the detriment of an ordinary Cameroonian. our eyes are opened and ears placed on the phones anciously waiting to hear how they are finally killing and burrying the will of the people of Cameroon for their selfish desires and that of an individual (Mr Biya).Who says a monarchy is not a good state. Let Mr Biya be crowned the King and his yes men the councilors. But remember and again remember our CPDM YES MEN and their Mighty Leader, the day that dam will be broken, the water will sweep away everything including the strongest concret wall and no trace will be left behind for any future rememberance whether there ever existed any thing at that place. If today Ahidjo who roled Cameroon for a century of years , his name can't
be found in any history book in Cameroon libraries what about ??????????? Watch Out.
God bless my beloved country Cameroon.

There is an ill omen and a premonitary jinx surrounding the political atmosphere in Cameroon.April 6th to 7th 1984 to April 7th 2008,24 years after an army mutiny amost overthrew P.Biya.Those who executed the coup justified their act by declaring that the barons of the regime were carrying out business as if they had to expediently empty the "public purse" before it became too late.
And true to them,Biya's regime has actually given credence to that theory. The country's double award as the most corrupt nation on the globe by corruption watchdog,Amnesty International is an indicator to this fact. The putchists advanced many other reasons which are observeable today even by the visually impaired in the manner in which the nation is run.
Strange enough, the code name for the 1984 coup was "Operation Sparrowhawk"(Epervier),the very name for the ongoing diversionary and face-lifting charade to bring the regimes corrupt conmen to face republican justice. And one wonders why it is only at this same time that the biggest fishes of the regime are falling into the dragnet;the same time when putchists were hatching out and executing a power takeover by the barrel of the gun 24 years ago.
Perhaps the premonitary bird(Sparrowhawk) is predicting that Biya's own political household is the nest from whence 'black hands' shall turn around to bite the hand that fed them.It may not be surprising that at this very moment some former protégés of the regime who had feasted from the till of the people within the "clan" and living in fear of being swept off by 'Sparrowhawk' will plan and scheme to protect themselves by 'any means' even it means plotting the downfall of the Master.
And some of them proved this by making use of their arsonic artistry during the February uprising when some CPDM party houses and townhalls went up in flames.A good number of CPDM party officials in the Littoral and West provinces were suspected and called up for questioning by the police. The overzealous Mme Foning of Douala V was heavily suspected of torching her Mayoral premises. With the growing dissent within the party, any hypothesis is worth taking seriously.Did a certain ex Minister not threaten(a few years ago) the regime when he was about to be investigated on corruption charges by declaring that he could sustain an army in Cameroon and then packed his bag and family and left for abroad?
And those languishing in the gallows today or those going under the grinding mill of investigators at the judicial police in Yaoundé certainly have their own 'clique' of people and their tribes who looked upon them as celestial benefactors. The former will certainly not hesitate to make their discontent heard or why not felt. For the Prince to survive he needed these people, now he has elected to sacrifice them,so on whom is he going to lay his confidence on now?And the more he sacrifices the more he alienates himself from his contemporaries or those who protected him years ago.And the more he encircles himself with neophytes;younger and more openminded people who did not wade through the turbulent years of colonialism, nor during the first decade of his reign, nor do they really belief in his "Messianic mission" for Cameroon.Nor are they fired by the overzealousness of those who held the reigns of power during one party era.
The insistance to pass the bill to modify the Fundamental Law to parliament in April(a month with great political significance in Cameroon) in other to perpetuate "regnum in aeternum" may not be a coincidence.Maybe the great esoteric and spiritual sorcerers behind the scene advised that this be done to defeat any rebellious spirits who could be plotting for a replay of 1984.Only time will tell.

What the SDF has to do now is to do now is to stop talking and swing into action.Ni John Fru Ndi recently gave an interview urging Cameroonians to resist.Well,Mr Fru Ndi,since 1990,we have been hearing that, and Biya has the courage to do what he's doing to Cameroonian people bc of ur laxity and naivity. This isn't time for words but action

HAD ANY ONE EVR ASKED HIMSELF
WHY ONE EARTH IN 1961 DID A PREIDENT OF ANOTHER COUNTRY CALLED BRITISH SOUTHERN CAMEROONS, HIS NAME WAS, SOLOMON TENDENG MUNA, AGREE TO ABANDON HIS OWN THRONE AND SIT ON THE FLOOR OF ANOTHER
THRONE, IN ANOTHER COUNTRY CALLED CAMEROUN
(LA REPUBLIQUE DU CAMEROUN) AHMADOU B AHIJO?. REASON HE WAS BRIBED JUST AS FRU NDI WAS JUST BRIBED RECENTLY BY PAUL BIYA WENT HE TOOK HIS TWO FEET AND VISITED HIM. JUST AS THE SDF MEMBERS OF CAMEROUNESE PARLIAMENT WERE BRIBED TO ACCEPT THE FOREIGNER TO RULED SOUTHERN CAMEROONS FOR ETERNITY, THATS WHAT WE IN THE WORLD OF SAGES CALLED WISDOM. KING SOLOMON HAD IT, SURE ONLY THOSE WHO HAVE WISDOM AND VISION LIKE THE POOR LONELY MP PAUL AYAH AND EYUMOJOCK WOULD SAY NO, THERE S SOMETHING FAR GREATER THAN SELF. THAT CANT BE BE SOLD, THATS VIRTUE, AND SINCE OUR LIFES HERE ON ERTH ARE JUST HALF THE STORY, THE OTHER HALF IS IN HEAVEN AND IS REWARDED ENORMOUSLY BY GOD, WHEN ONLY HIM CHOOSES WHO IS WORTH COMING BACK HERE ON EARTH WHEN WE DIE, THOSE NOT WORTHY LIKE THE PAUL BIYAS, AND THE FRU NDI ET ALL WILL EITHER COME AS SERPENTS OR JUST WISKED INTO THE EVER LASTING HELL FIRE.
THATS THE PICTURE FOR MANKINGD TO SEE, THATS WHY THE WORLD IS THE WAY IT IS.
SOME CULTURES, DEVELOP SCIENCES, AND TECHNOLOGY, THEY BUILD AEROPLANES AND SEA SHIPS AND N\MEDICNES . ALL THINGS GOOD IN GODS EYES TO PROLONG, HIS CHILDREN LIFE HERE ON EARTH, THE OTHERS WAIST THEIR TIME LIKE THE WASTEFULL MUD DOWN THE BOTTOMLESS PIT, TO BE EATEN BY THE DREGS OF MANKIND.
BRITISH SOUTHERN CAMEROONS (7M) GREATER THAN THE STATE OF ISREAL ( 4.5M) OWES TO IT SELF TO STATIONED ITS OWN SOLDIERS ON ITS LAND, THROUGH OUT THE BIBLE WE LEARNT THAT , SOLDIERS HAVE FOUGHT TO LIBERETE NATIONS FROM INVADERS AND EMPIRES, WHATS BRITISH SOUTHERN CAMEROONS AFRAID OF?
THER ISNT ANY THING HUMBLE TO ACCEPT TO LIVE A SLAVE.
